ANTAGONIST frontman featured on The Price Is Right; video available

ANTAGONIST frontman Carlos Garcia was featured on The Price Is Right as a (winning) contestant yesterday, Nov. 10, and video is available online here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBjZ7qvJ5ss). While on tour in September with Decrepit Birth, friends and fellow Californian bands ANTAGONIST and Animosity decided to spend a day at a filming for the long-running game show and Garcia was lucky enough to get called up for a game as well as a Showcase Showdown with new The Price Is Right host Drew Carey.

Having released the band’s Prosthetic Records debut, ‘Exist,’ at the end of September, ANTAGONIST has already hit the road in the latter half of the year headlining with Sea of Treachery and labelmates The Funeral Pyre, as well as the aforementioned dates with Animosity and Decrepit Birth, and others, in addition to a wholly successful CD release show in the band’s hometown of Whittier, Calif. surrounding the release of ‘Exist.’ Later this month, ANTAGONIST will again hit the road for some headlining dates, as well as a show with Born of Osiris and Shai Hulud in San Jose and Impending Doom in Southern California two days later.

Two tracks from ‘Exist’ are currently available on ANTAGONIST’s MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/antagonist) as well as material from the band’s pre-Prosthetic history, which spans the course of 10 years, three EPs and two additional full-length efforts.
