INTRONAUT Premiere "Australopithecus" Video on the Deciblog
Genre-defying progressive titans INTRONAUT recently unleashed their Century Media debut, Prehistoricisms, to much praise from fans and critics alike even being heralded by Decibel as “one of the most anticipated releases of 2008”. The band also shot a video for the track “Australopithecus”, which has been premiered exclusively on the Deciblog.
Shot by director Sera Timms (Isis, Pelican), the stunning clip was filmed in Los Angeles during the month of August. The clip can be viewed at the following location. http://decibelmagazine.com/index.php/2008/11/14/world-video-premier-intronaut-australopithecus/
INTRONAUT frontman Sacha Dunable had the following to say: “We made our first ever music video. It was done by Sera Timms (Isis, Pelican) and I must say I am pretty impressed. We were kind of concerned that a video would come across as cheesy or forced, but Sera made a really elaborate storyline to go along with the very vague lyrical content (quite a feat) and just made this amazing video that we can totally be proud of. We can’t wait for you all to see it and we will be back on the road soon.”
Prehistoricisms was recorded at three different locations throughout the Los Angeles area and engineered by Josh Newell (Jane’s Addiction). INTRONAUT are currently playing shows in the LA area and are set to kick off another full touring cycle in early 2009.
